Exercise you can take sitting down

Live chair Pilates classes will be starting at St John's Link, Windlesham, Surrey, GU20 6BL on Friday 22nd April at 10am.

It is so important to keep active and chair based Pilates enables us to do just that without having to worry about getting up and down off of the floor or struggle with gym equipment. It is also ideal for those of us who find ourselves seated at a desk for long periods of time and need something we can do for a few minutes to release tension in the back, shoulders and legs.


My Friday class combines elements of a standard mat pilates routine but without leaving the comfort of a chair. This will involve stretching, mobility and strength exercises.


Once you have become familiar with the routine it should be possible to perform some of the exercises at home to keep the body supple, strong and mobile and thereby stave off the myriad aches and pains that can otherwise stop us from fully enjoying our lives.


To participate, simply either book onto a class online or let me know by text or phone. No specialist equipment is required you just need to wear loose fitting clothing.
